The Wailin' Jennys consists of two female artists from Winnipeg, Canada and the third originally from Maine. Their harmony is exceptional as are their individual voices. Heather Masse who is the American member and sings alto, studied jazz. She can also be heard on Garrison Keillor's 'American Home Companion'.
